Times Square goes to the
dogs for a fun-filled afternoon of canine camaraderie to raise
awareness for Animal Haven's Adopt-a-Pet program.
Dogs of all breeds and sizes are invited to
dress up and enter the contest, with prizes awarded to the dogs
whose costume best evokes Times Square's past or present or
even Broadway icons. Additional prizes will be awarded to the
runners-up, or "Honorable Hounds". Participating dogs
will be broadcast on the giant Panasonic Astrovision screen
in Times Square. Winners will be selected by spectators and
by celebrity judges.
WHEN: Sunday, October 21, 2007, 1-3pm
