Calling all Kids the 8th annual Kids Day America-Children’s Health, Safety & Environmental Awareness Day sponsored by Dr. Christopher Schmidt Chiropractic in Massapequa (4400 Merrick Road). The day included live entertainment for adults and children, free photo ID cards and fingerprinting, Dental screenings, computerized spinal thermography screenings, clown & face-painting raffles and delicious food, which makes this day such a popular and highly anticipated family event.

Petland Discount set up their petting zoo featuring: Mikey the Iguana, Daphne & Shaggy the ferrets, Chi-Chi the chinchilla, Mr. Bun-Bun the rabbit, Wallace the tortoise, Bo the Macaw Parrot, Priscilla the Cockatoo, Spike the bearded dragon, Spot the water dragon and Francis the snake. The kids all had a great time learning about all the different pets, how to take care of them and had a chance to pet and hold their “favorite” animals.
